Marlo Mikeal has been helping buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals since 2002. A lifelong resident of the Charlotte and Lake Norman area, she grew up in what is now Charlotte's University Area, graduated from North Mecklenburg High School, and earned her bachelor's degree from UNC Charlotte, where she also received her commission as a United States Air Force Officer.
After proudly serving her country for more than seven years as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer, Marlo returned home to begin her real estate career. Her military background shaped the values that define her business today—integrity, leadership, attention to detail, and exceptional communication. Combined with more than two decades of real estate experience, she has the knowledge and expertise to guide clients through every step of the buying and selling process with confidence.
As a lifelong local resident, Marlo offers in-depth knowledge of Lake Norman and the surrounding communities. She understands the local market, develops strategic pricing and marketing plans that get homes sold, and is committed to providing outstanding service from the first conversation through closing.
Marlo is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the North Carolina Association of REALTORS®, and the Canopy REALTOR® Association. She holds the Strategic Pricing Specialist (SPS) and Certified Military Residential Specialist (CMRS) designations and has completed Ninja Selling training. She has also invested more than seven years in the Buffini & Company coaching program, continually refining her skills in client service, negotiation, marketing, and business strategy to better serve her clients.
Giving back to the community has always been important to Marlo. Since 2018, she has been an active member of the Exchange Club of Mooresville–Lake Norman, serving in a variety of leadership roles. She served as Americanism Committee Chair for four years, Field of Flags Chair for four years, and has proudly served as Club President for two terms. Through these roles, she has helped lead patriotic events, community service initiatives, and programs honoring veterans, first responders, and those who have served our country.
Marlo was married to her husband, Paul, for 20 years before being widowed in 2012 when he was tragically lost in an airplane crash while fighting wildfires over South Dakota. She continued to raise their two children, Amanda and Liam, in the Lake Norman area and continues to call this community home. Her deep local roots, commitment to service, and passion for helping others make her a trusted resource for buyers and sellers throughout the region.
