She was always readily available to show us properties - sometimes the same home more than once. Our search lasted seems like forever and her patience never faltered - even as our preferences evolved and we started to contradict ourselves on what we were looking for. Marla was truly a joy to work with. She was well organized and made sure the I’s were dotted and the T’s were crossed. She pointed out noteworthy observations about any property we looked at - whether it be good or bad. Her extensive knowledge of construction was priceless. Once we found the right one and put an offer in, she demonstrated her ability to translate what she learned about us into meaningful wins for us during negotiations. She picked up on things that we were not thrilled about and found a way to have those issues addressed prior to closing. Many of these things may have been issues that we may not have pursued had she not assured us it was ok and that the worst that could happen was the other party would say "no" (a specific example would be that Marla knew we didn't like the fact that the family room floor was imperfect so she asked the seller to have it repaired prior to closing - it would have been a deal breaker, and she knew we needed to have it corrected before we could even consider loving everything about our home choice.
