Mark grew up in the Midwest, but knew he was destined for a life of sandy car seats and floor mats when he was introduced to scuba diving in college at Kansas State University. I know what you are thinking: Is scuba diving in Kansas even possible? Yes, and it’s about as horrible as it sounds. After college, he spent nine years crafting his trade in accounting gaining a detailed orientated foundation that would later pave his way into business ownership.
In 2014, he started a moving company in Austin, TX with no previous knowledge of the industry. In a service orientated business where so many things can go wrong, keeping a five-star rating across every social platform is almost impossible. For five years he did just that and grew one business into two more with the help of some great people, which is a testament to his commitment of providing industry leading service. Being able to adapt to any problem or situation is second nature to him.
During that time he was flipping houses on the side where he found his real passion, real estate. In addition to real estate he owns Cape Fear Remodeling, which is currently reserved for his clients and remodel projects. When he isn’t helping his clients buy/sell/remodel you can find him with his amazing wife and dachshunds at the beach or watching his son launch off everything he can find. They added another boy to the team in October of 2022 and couldn’t be happier. With his wife having deep roots to the Brunswick county region, even going as far as having one of the busiest intersections/streets named after them, this is their forever home.
