I’ve never sold a house before, so the whole process seemed like it was going to be one long arduous and overwhelming hassle. Looking back now, I know that it easily could’ve been, if not for Mark navigating me through the straits. His guidance throughout made it easy for me, and his knowledge and experience helped to anticipate and avoid possible pitfalls. I could see how you could inadvertently find yourself in a lot of hot water with an inexperienced broker, or one that’s not ethical, or detail-oriented. Fortunately, Mark was impeccable. He was also a great negotiator, getting me more than my asking price, and working with the other party in a way that had my back, without chasing them off or blowing the deal. It takes finesse to walk that tightrope, and an understanding about which compromises are reasonable and fair. Again, something I would have had no clue about.
