Mark Menconi is my real estate agent and walked me through the purchase of my new home. He was pretty amazing to work with for several reasons. First, even though he lives about an hour and a half outside of my target area, he met with me pretty much any time I designated to go house hunting and answered my calls and emails quickly even though i sent them at all odd hours. Second, he followed up on homes I was interested in and affirmatively updated me on any change in circumstances. In fact, that's how I ended up getting the home I wanted. He notified me over the Christmas holidays that a home I had expressed interest in several months back but couldn't afford had been delisted and indicated the seller would be willing to show it by appointment. Without any competition against my offer, the seller accepted! Thirdly, he is knowledgeable about every aspect of the home buying process from financing to home repairs and basically walked me through the process which as a first time home buyer was such a relief! He made the process pretty simple and relaxing as he independently arranged pretty much everything and all I had to do is show up for the inspection and sign documents electronically. Everyone he works with is as kind and easy to work with as Mark and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, but especially to a first time home buyer. I say he is my real estate agent rather than he was my real estate agent because even though the purchase of my home is complete, he still follows up with me and answers my questions. I am in a great home that is in good repair in the neighborhood i want at the price i was comfortable with and I could not be happier!

From the beginning, Mark made the process very easy. The property was being sold for a family member, and was quite a distance from Mark's office, but he met us out at the house to start the process. He gave us comparables to see, and provided his advice on a proper selling point to get the house sold. He was very timely with documents, provided explanations when asked, and got the house sold!
