It is my great pleasure to write this online review for agent Mark DeGenaro. I first became acquainted with Mark back in 2016 when I was searching for an agent in the event I one day decided to sell a PUD in South Sacramento (I own several in a complex). So, I did a search of recently sold units in that particular complex and saw that Mark had been the listing agent. So, I called him up and chatted with him about the pros and cons of the area and the potential market value of my unit. I was immediately struck by how knowledgeable and utterly professional he was. Mark made such an impression on me all those years ago that when it came time for me to sell one of my units in 2023, Mark was the ONLY agent I would even consider for the listing. And Mark did not let me down. He patiently counseled me on what improvements to make and more importantly, which ones NOT to make. Let’s face it: the wrong agent could easily mislead their client into over improving a property for sale. Not Mark. He knew exactly how far to take it, which I greatly appreciated. Even more importantly, he priced it just right. I mean…just right. That is so important during any time but even more critical during these difficult economic times where interest rates are continuing to trend upward. Those two things, in my opinion, are where we separate the pros from the amateurs. Mark was also terrific about returning telephone calls and texts in a timely manner, which is something I personally need in order to feel reassured during the sales process. Otherwise, I my mind start’s thinking in unhelpful and ways, imagining worst case scenarios. But Mark’s constant communication eased my worries. In closing, let me state without reservation that I can wholeheartedly recommend Mark DeGenaro to any property owner in the Sacramento area that needs an experienced, hard-working real estate agent of great integrity who goes the extra mile for his clients.
