"I want to echo the review from Scott H. My wife and I sold our house about 10 days ago with Marie's help. It was a great experience and she did a great job. We could not be happier. Originally, I wasn't sold on the idea of using a real estate agent. I was considering selling the house myself. A friend recommended Marie and she came up and met with us for about two hours. We were impressed and decided to hire her. She did a great job of balancing our input with her expertise. Marie hadn't sold a house in our neighborhood before and was very open to what we had to say. She also was honest about how she saw our house. In the end, we listed the house for an aggressive price and got the full asking price. We not only had one offer at full price but we had a backup offer also at full price if the first one fell through. You couldn't ask for more. One of the great things that she did was bring in a team of "home stagers" to give us guidance on how to prepare the house for sale. We ended up doing everything they suggested and it was worth it. It was a bunch of work getting the house ready to be shown, we had to pack a bunch of stuff and move some furniture around, but it resulted in us getting the price we wanted and selling the house in ten days. She also brought in a professional photographer to take pictures. This wasn't the easiest thing to do since we were taking pictures in February of 2015 and there was about 5 feet of snow on the ground. The pictures did a great job of showcasing the house. Not to sing her praises even more, but she also did a great job of negotiating. The buyer's real estate agent was a bit of a challenge to work with, but Marie represented our interests firmly but politely and in the end, everything went very well. To wrap this up, I would highly recommend Marie if you are selling (or buying) a house in the Boston area. She is very professional, friendly and responsive. We could not be happier."
