Marianne Thelin

This is the second time in the past 8 years or so that I have used Marianne as my agent, once in buying a house and once in selling my home. Her experience in real estate and her knowledge of the housing market and the Portland/Beaverton area are invaluable. As a buyer, she was great at determining what I was looking for and made herself available to take me to homes that fit my criteria. She was quick to provide me with new listings and ready to move quickly in a busy market. She made the buying process very smooth. I just recently sold my home and did not hesitate calling Marianne again. She did not disappoint. Originally, I met with her just to discuss the possibility of selling my house. Within a couple of weeks of that meeting, she was able to assist me in getting the house ready and on the market. Because of her experience and reputation, Marianne has a lot of connections with great people in the industry--subcontractors and handymen for making repairs/improvements, interior designers/house stagers, other agents, etc. Her sound professional advice saved me time and money when selling my home. She is a go-getter for sure. She is knowledgeable, professional, confident, positive, and supportive. Marianne once again made the process simple and smooth. I cannot say enough positive things about her.

We worked with Marianne to find the perfect house and to sell our own house. In this *CRAZY* market, Marianne took us to so many houses over the time we were looking. Even if she was going to be out of town, she found a realtor friend to take us through houses we wanted to see. She helped us write an offer that got accepted, and helped work things out so we can get moved in on a schedule that will work for us. Selling our house, Marianne had a designer come in to give us suggestions on staging our own home so it would sell quicker and for more money. Marianne brought s truckload of paintings, rugs, and knick-knacks to stage our house perfectly. She also had an open house. Then, when we got several offers within the first weekend, she negotiated to get us a cash offer with free rentback until we could move into the house we purchased. Marianne is simply fabulous! I highly recommend her!
