I contacted Josh at Best Home Ever to sell my tenant-occupied condo and was very direct about what I needed: I did not want to be involved in dealing with the tenants, coordinating their move-out, preparing the condo for sale, scheduling vendors, or going back to the property. The condo had previously been my primary residence, and after trying my hand at being a landlord for nine months, I realized the hassle was not worth it. Between work and family responsibilities, I simply did not have the time to take on another project. Josh understood that from the beginning and truly handled everything. He worked directly with the tenants and successfully negotiated an early termination of their lease so the condo could be listed sooner. Once they moved out, he coordinated the professional cleaning of the unit and carpets and made sure the property was ready to be shown and sold. I was able to stay completely removed from that part of the process, which was exactly what I had asked for. We later encountered a slew of unexpected roadblocks involving the condo association. What should have been a relatively straightforward sale became a complicated transaction with a tremendous amount of communication and back-and-forth among me, the association, the buyer’s agent, and the other parties involved. Throughout it all, Josh and the Best Home Ever team remained responsive, persistent, and focused on finding a way forward. They kept everyone communicating and continued working through each new issue when the transaction could have easily fallen apart. I honestly do not know whether we would have gotten this sale across the finish line without Josh. I am extremely grateful for his professionalism, patience, persistence, and willingness to take ownership of the entire process. I highly recommend Josh and his team, particularly to anyone with a complicated property or anyone who needs an agent who will truly handle the work and see the transaction through to closing.
