Although we knew Margie as a neighbor, when we decided to list our home in Lake Forest we knew we needed a good agent to sell our house, not just a friend. Margie impressed us during the interview process. She did not have a 'slick' sales manner, trying to wow us with, "What I can sell your house for!" Instead she did a lot of research and using her business background provided us with solid information to use in determining a market value for our house. We felt comfortable working with Margie because she is low key, competent, thorough, conscientous, generous, and honest. She helped us with every part of the move... staging the house, making small repairs, getting the inspections, fixing termite damage, replacing a furnace that did not pass the inspection, negotiating with the buyer and their agent, handling water damage discovered behind the refrigerator on closing day as we were loading our last truck, and even helping us deal with the stuff that did not quite fit on that last truck. We had a lot of 'hiccups' and Margie remained unflappable and professional. Oh, and our house did sell in 3 days above our asking price. Margie has earned my highest recommendations!
