We used Magda Nordahl from Berkshire Hathaway as our realtor to list and sell my father's house at 8699 Roswell St in Ventura. Her overall marketing plan and strategy to list and sell the house was outstanding. Her presentation was very complete and included a very detailed analysis of the local real estate market in our area. She provided many good suggestions on what to improve and repair at the house before listing which ultimately increased our listing price. I especially liked that Berkshire Hathaway offered design services through Zoom Casa for painting and flooring that could be added to the escrow costs versus having to come up with the funds upfront. Magda also provided some excellent references for a handyman and an electrician which greatly helped in getting the house ready for market. During the time the house was on the market she was always readily available and willing to discuss our marketing strategy (when to lower price). current market trends and answer any questions we had on the sale process. Once the house went into escrow Magda helped us negotiate with the buyers, prepared our counteroffer, coordinated very efficiently with the escrow company, termite company and sewer line inspection company. She also provided many extras such as patio furniture, potted plants, chairs, lamps, and kitchen items to help stage and prepare the house for market. Overall I would highly recommend her as a realtor. She has a very charming personality, is easy to talk to and listens to what the client wants. She will help you get the maximum amount for your property and get it sold as quickly as possible.
