Due to the skills, professionalism, and diligence of Lynette Huber , my husband and I got our dream home. We moved down from Massachusetts earlier this year and we knew very little about the area. First Lynette located an excellent short term rental as we requested so we had some time to look for a home to purchase. Wei initially chose to interview Lynette because of the real estate literature she sent in the mail. When she came to meet us we were exceedingly impressed by her real estate presentation, professionalism, knowledge of our community, and genuineness, She was not the only realtor we interviewed, but both my husband and I agreed she was the best choice for us. When we hired her, we soon discovered that she was conscientious, respectful of our ideas and beliefs, very pleasant, patient, punctual , and excellent with follow-through. She thoughtfully analyzed our property and helped us arrive at a price point that proved to be right on the money. We agreed to leave the house for a weekend, during which she would manage showings, hold an open house, and collect all bids to be reviewed the following Monday night. The open house was quite successful due to to her MLS listing, professionally-made brochure of our property, and interactions with perspective buyers. By the end of the weekend we had four bids, all of which were at our price point or higher. She went over each offer with us and pointed out the strengths and potential problems with each. We all agreed one offer exceeded the others, coming in at $40,000 above our asking price. She made a point of answering all of our questions throughout the process and calming us when it got stressful. We feel she displayed great savvy in dealing with the seller’s realtor. She seemed to know when we should accept our buyer’s requests and when to draw the line. She gave us great recommendations for the professional photographer and service people in preparing our property and helped with advice for selling and donating furniture and personal items. We felt she was exceptionally professional and supportive throughout the whole process and was the main reason we ended up with such an incredible offer, higher than any other property in the neighborhood.
