Don't judge me wrong. Luke seems like a nice person and I wouldn't mind being friends with him in college or going out for a drink with him. But when it comes to being realtor, he just doesn't like to put in the work. He will surely not go any extra mile, and is very accommodating to the seller's demands. At the smallest of hurdles, he will just say, let's leave as is. And once you purchased the house, you are on your own, because by then he just doesn't care if he was careless or provided you with wrong information. He will move swiftly when it comes to recommending his preferred lender, even when his lender is clearly not giving you the best deal. This was my first purchase and I was really unfamiliar with overall process. When I speak with other home buyers, I feel almost embarrassed for having been so naive and trusting. They tell me everything their realtors did for them, from showing them countless houses to taking care of the smallest of details. I supposed I could have been more demanding and urged him to work harder... But again to the other realtors, putting all that effort comes more naturally. He has a long way to go...
