We had a great experience working with Luis. He helped navigate the entire process and helped us get over some speed bumps that occurred along the way. Luis was fair and honest and was great to work with.

I am going to allow the facts write this review. In May of 2023, utilizing another realtor, we put our 200-year-old farmhouse for sale. Prior to listing, we got an appraisal and listed at $875,000. From May-November 2023, we had 4 canceled showings and zero actual showings, even after 2 price reductions. March 2024, because our realtor stated people were interested in our house, we did a 3-month contract and listed at $789,000, which resulted in 2 showings and no offers. May 1st, dropped the price to $749,000, resulting in 2 showings and no offers. May 20th, I contacted Vera Cohen and explained the situation. Even though we were out of her usual area, and had a difficult property to sell, she took us on and assigned us Luis Torres. Luis came to our home, sat down with us to learn about the house and take a tour to figure out how he would sell it. Upon reviewing what the previous realtor did to sell our house, Luis immediately saw missed opportunities and inadequate service. Luis explained the level of services he could provide and how he would sell our house. Starting June 1st, we listed at $749,000. We could tell from Luis’ listing; this time was different. The difference in pictures alone were night and day; so much so that I didn’t even recognize our barn in the pictures. June 1st, day 1 with Luis had 3 showings. June 2nd, day 2, had 2 showings. June 3rd, day 3, 2 showing. June 5th, 5 days, after listing with Luis we had an offer and finally closed August 9th. Within 5 days of listing, we had more showings than we had with the previous realtor in 2023 and 3 months of 2024. If we went with Luis sooner, we believe we would have sold in the $800,000s and more importantly not lost the house we had a contingency on. Luis listened to everything I was looking for and sent me a plethora of houses matching my interest. Readily available whenever I needed him and helped me close on my home within 30 days.

Luis is a phenomenal agent. He goes above and beyond when looking for a property. I have bought and sold properties many times before and going forward Luis will be the only agent i will use.
