Should have negotiated a lower rate

Roy helped us sell our old house and buy our forever home. It was a tough market to buy in but Roy helped us every step of the way.

Roy took so much time to help me and my wife find the house that we were looking for. He had a lot of great insight to share since he started his career in appraisals, and also works with a lot of people who buy homes to renovate/improve. Doing a cross-country relocation is hard enough, but we ended up doing it in the middle of a pandemic and doing a lot of the work remotely with Roy's assistance. Frankly, we couldn't have gotten the job done effectively without a lot of work and Roy was always there to make sure things went smoothly, from making himself available to look at homes when I flew up from Dallas, to meeting multiple contractors and inspectors at the home and following up since I was 1500 miles away, to helping in every step of the negotiation and closing.
