This was my first home purchase. I knew very little and was very anxious and overwhelmed by the process. Lou Scirrotto was absolutely amazing and helped me every step of the way and easing all of my concerns. He never pressured me to buy a home just to get a commission which I really appreciated. Instead, he advised me to wait until I was able to find a home I would love. I’m so glad he did! When I found a home I wanted to buy, he took care of everything. I never had to worry about missing a deadline, finding inspectors, or interpreting contract language. He also made sure I was treated fairly by the seller’s broker and not taken advantage of in any way. For a first time homebuyer, I heard horror stories. With Lou, there was never a worry and thankfully no horror stories to tell. On top of all that, he has even continued to help me after closing which has been so welcome and appreciated! The repairs from the inspection had not been completed and he has made sure they sellers will not only complete the inspection, but that they will not skimp in any way with shoddy work. Lou is incredibly knowledgeable about this crazy housing market that is Boulder. I haven’t felt abandoned in this process and he has always been responsive to my questions. If you want someone who has a lot of experience, won’t pressure you to buy (or sell) a house to get a commission, and will make sure the process is as seamless and stress free as possible, I highly recommend Lou as a real estate agent. If I ever buy a house in the area again or sell my current house, Lou will be my first call.

Lou was super helpful from the very beginning. He took care of all the details and told us exactly what he needed from us, in terms of information about the property. He gave us good advice on what we needed to do to get the property ready for sale. Lou suggested a higher sales price than what we had in mind, and proved that he knew the market well, when the property sold close to that higher price. The closing was effortless, and once again all the details were taken care of. Communication was excellent, in that Lou kept us apprised of every step.
