Lorraine was a great buyers agent to have. She was very helpful in determining how much house I can afford, what to look for in a house, and how to think about my resell for the future. She responded promptly and with valuable information every time I had a question. She also was honest about any concerns she had with a house and was not afraid to steer me away from ones I thought would be good but weren't.
I had accepted a job out of state, had been in the hospital & just wanted the move done! I checked an online offer company, which made an offer of $265k and their fees were about 9.9%. They later upped their offer to $274k Lorraine generated multiple offers in 24 hours of listing the home and I sold for $31k more - and the commission I paid was a lot less than the online company's total fees. It was a whirlwind as I had already been working out of state. I was super stressed and had relocated, but not moved all my furniture. Lorraine came in and organized the mess I left (half packed boxes, bags with things and furniture to be donated) to be able to take some pictures for the listing until I fully moved out a week later at which point she would have the cleaners come in and take professional pictures. Well, she did her magic & got it under contract before I came back a week later to move! A few days before closing the attorney asked for a copy of the survey. Someone dropped the ball and the survey was done the day before closing. The survey showed that the neighbor's fence was 20 feet ... YES! 20 feet on my property, yet the neighbor's survey showed their fence on their yard! Meanwhile, I am already living in another state so what does Lorraine do? She gets a copy of the survey and she and her husband walk my back yard to find the survey markers, take pictures & show that one of the surveyor's stakes is in the middle of my backyard & nowhere near the neighbor's fence. Lorraine was able to speak with my neighbor, get a copy of her survey, e-mail the attorney & proceed to closing. She was able to calm the buyers & show them that, clearly, there was an error & managed to close the deal with the understanding that we would hash this out after closing. Being 12 hours away, I could not have done this without Lorraine. She handled all the repairs, got the contractors in & out & made sure everything was right. I can't thank her enough and highly recommend her!
So after being unable to sell the property with another agent for over 180+ days, Lorraine came to the rescue with her expertise and was able to bring multiple offers and have it sold in 3 months. It's a HUGE benefit to work with an agent like Lorraine because she understands investors, the retail market & the hard word that goes into a renovation project. She's upfront and unbiased which I appreciate. If it's good she'll tell you and if it's bad...she'll tell you!
Lorraine is an amazing agent and definitely has your best interests at heart! She is so friendly, treats you like family, and at one point, even showed us almost 8 condos in a day! She responds quickly to questions and definitely helped walk us through all of our questions as first-time home buyers. I would highly recommend Lorraine to any friends or family who are looking to buy in the future!
if I had to describe my experience with Lorraine in one word it would be phenomenal. Lorraine always got it done. When things looked bleak Lorraine was right there reassuring me that she would work it out, and she did. Lorraine went above and beyond to make sure I was always taken care of. We often joked that she was my Atlanta mother (my family is on the West Coast). No one looks after you more than your mother; that’s what Lorraine does. She takes you in and treats you like family. Family that is always there no matter the time or day, you can always call on Lorraine and she will be there. The things I appreciate most about Lorraine is: She always goes to bat for you, she gives her all, she is dependable, she educates you so that you are aware, she keeps you in the know so there arent any surprises. If I was going to buy another house tomorrow, Lorraine would be my number one choice. I know that even though Lorraine isn’t my active realtor anymore because she found me my home, because of the relationship we built I know I can call her and ask her any question (as I have several times) and she is still there to lend a helping hand. Working and having the privelage to know Lorraine and have her in my life from here on out is a true blessing.

I cannot say enough good things about Lorraine! Considering we were asking over $500K and close to the top of the market for the area, we knew there would be some work to do. She made the process of selling my home as pain free as possible, always keeping our best interest in mind.
