                As an out of area administrator, I am grateful for having met and worked with Lori Aronsohn and her colleague Patricia So.  The subject property had been in the same family for nearly sixty years and due to the health of the surviving member suffered from neglect and deferred maintenance.  It provided great peace of mind to have met and worked with Lori and Patricia during this process.  They were professional and responsive without being overbearing or ‘pushy’.  Communication was clear on the steps needed for cleaning and rehabilitating the property for sale.  We worked well together in coordinating and choosing contractors during the necessary steps for clean up and basic repairs.  They had contacts available and at the same time welcomed my suggestions for alternative contractors for specific tasks.  We worked well together and they functioned as my ‘on the ground’ managers.  Their demeanor during the listing, showing, and escrow phases, brought us into contact with quality buyers, agents, and escrow officers.  The requirements of the probate process were understood throughout.  I recommend without reservation.

My family inherited a triplex property in LA , but we live in the Bay Area and had not seen the property in decades. Our probate lawyer had previously worked with Lori and her associate Patricia. They are very familiar with the Silver Lake area and dealing with older buildings that have issues with “ deferred maintenance, “ tenant occupancy, and properties still in probate. They provided a good analysis of the changes in the housing market and complication after the fires. They also provided good resource information for services for packing up and clearing out the building and yard and for obtaining insurance on the property. Lori and her staff were there from beginning to end. They supervised the cleaning crew, photographers and everyone else that contributed to getting the sale completed. She orchestrated the transaction, working with escrow, title and the lawyers (this was a probate sale). We interviewed other Brokers and Lori was able to get us considerably more than the others. Very happy with the results.
