I met Lorette at the first open house I attended. She was warm, personable and I just got a good feeling from her. So I trusted my gut and hired her to be my buyer's agent - and I thank my lucky stars I did. She was not interested in getting me into a house, she wanted to be sure I was getting the RIGHT house FOR ME. We always talked through any concerns I had, she was great at explaining why things worked certain ways (translated Florida to this Northerner) and if she saw things that didn't look right she'd point them out and say "This isn't right. I don't want you buying this house." In the end, she found me exactly what I wanted - a small concrete block house with a nicely fenced-in yard within my budget. Quite a feat in this market. Since then she's also found me a company that rehabs terrazzo floors and an AC repair when mine went out. Most importantly, I think I found a friend for life in Lorette. She truly cares about people and wants the best for them. HIRE HER ALREADY. You won't regret it.

Lorette came into our lives thru my sister-in-law asking her if she could help us with finding a house. The last realtor was just trying to sell us anything we looked at. Lorette with her experience called and asked us exactly what we wanted in a house. After explaining all the details and what our budget was, she sighed a little and said that would be a tall order to fill but she would do her best. Months went by bidding 10 times on homes which 3 we had till the last moment when cash offers came in. We increased our budget to the max hoping we could finally be in the running to buy a house. We had been trying for almost 2 years to purchase. When finally I quit stressing and decided to not worry about it, bingo. Lorette who never quit searching called about a day later and asked us to look at this house which just came out with a big price drop. We bid that day having 1 other competing with us and we got the house on a small increase. It had more features than we had hoped for and was still below our max. We were thinking Lorette was done, no way, you see we are from Illinois, and had exhausted our many trips down there, we closed by virtue of a notary person. Now, Lorette is going out of the way to check on our house every week. She still does this because we have prior commitments that we cannot move until the end of June. She has gone above and beyond any other realtor that anyone we have talked to has ever used.
