Liza did an amazing job of understanding what I was looking for with my house purchase. She listened to my needs and wants and walked me through the entire house hunting process. Liza is great at reviewing complex paperwork, inspection reports and negotiating the right price. Very impressed with Liza and her team. They took a stressful situation and made it easy, seamless and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Liza and her team; tons a great local knowledge and advice.

Liza was our real estate agent guiding us with the sale our parents home in San Mateo. This was our family home where our parents raised 5 children so there was a huge sentimental attachment for each of us. Liza was fantastic and so respectful of all of our feelings as we discussed the plan on fixing up the house to sell. Liza was incredible to work with, she guided us on what areas needed to be updated, had a schedule for us to follow and was always mindful of our budget. And being the expert she is, and with her continued follow through, all work was completed on time and the house was listed on the MLS on the date specified on her schedule. Liza has a group of contractors she works with who gave us quotes on work to be performed. They were all very professional and each one did an outstanding job. She is well aware of current city/county rules and ordinances in the Bay Area. When it was time to put the house on the market, she had a strategy and explained it in great detail (several times) so we all understood and felt comfortable on how to proceed. Liza far exceeded our expectations on what we thought a realtor would do for us. We knew we were in excellent hands from the minute we met her, leading us in this unfamiliar territory. We would not hesitate to work with Liza in the future with our real estate needs.

She is very knowledgeable on regulations that apply to sellers for their specific city on the Peninsula. She does an excellent job of communicating with her clients as well as did this while Covid 19 is going on. Liza did an excellent job working with us on setting the price of the house. She definitely does her homework as we were able to get over the asking price for our home. I would easily recommend Liza Vernazza to any person or family looking to buy or sell a home. Liza was the listing agent for my mom’s home when she downsized after 40 years. Liza carefully explained her sales strategy, the current status of the market and her recommendations for preparing the house for sale. We were impressed with the professional fliers, brochures, TV ads and website postings that she prepared as well as her coordination with the painter, photographer and inspectors. Liza checked in frequently and I felt that she was always looking out for my mom’s best interests. When the buyer wanted to move his belongings in ahead of close, Liza prepared the documents necessary so that mom wouldn’t be liable for any issues that might occur during that time.
