An exemplary experience defined by knowledge, expertise and relationship.
This is my second home purchase, but it is the first one that I have had to navigate on my own. The previous purchase occurred well over a decade ago, so any of the unpleasantness had long been relegated to the fog of history and middle age memory loss.
So, it was with no small amount of trepidation and anxiety that I sought to undertake this endeavor.
To say I was blessed to have Lissette Quintanilla in my corner is an understatement. I am thankful that I did not have to spin a roulette wheel and find a random agent, as that would only add to the stress. Lissette was recommended to me by a family member who previously had a positive experience with a home purchase and so I welcomed the opportunity to make her acquaintance as my representative.
Despite the familial introduction, I was determined to interview Lissette as I would anyone I was looking to represent me in such a monumental task, and Lissette passed that first test with tact, humor and an openness to respond to direct questions about her role, her responsibilities, her commission and to explain some of the new real estate laws. I am grateful that our first interview went well, as I am not sure that I could ever have replaced Lissette with someone else, now that I have had the privilege to have her represent me and experience her work ethic.
During my search for a home (a process that lasted 5 months) Lissette was in constant communication as she provided numerous listings to review and quickly learned what I was looking for so she could narrow our search. She endured my desire to allow my 14 year old daughter to be part of the process, and she established a wonderful relationship with her, as well. She showed us numerous properties and provided a welcome opinion on the values and merits of each. Her expertise and advice was invaluable when we made our final offer on what would ultimately become our new home and she celebrated with us when we closed. I recommend Lissette without reservation.
