My journey to South Carolina home ownership began with Lisa being randomly assigned to show me rentals, when I moved from Tennessee to the Charleston area for a job. I had already picked out a few places to view, and Lisa took my wish list and ran with it. She found a house for me that I had missed while doing my searches--it was perfect. I tried to pay her for her time, yet she refused every offer and only asked that I remember her if I ever chose to purchase. Initially, I wanted to purchase something after my one-year lease was up. Lisa was very helpful in locating homes to view, but nothing every really stood out to me, so I decided to stay where I was. (The lack of finding a home was completely due to my pickiness and budget.) Many months later when I contacted Lisa with the notion that I wanted to purchase my rental, she was there to help with any questions or concerns that I had. More importantly, she knew the questions that I needed to ask, yet did not know to ask. The seemingly never-ending documents, signatures, and timelines didn't faze her in the least; her years of experience of how best to help her client, me, achieve homeownership through rounds of negotiations with owners on the opposite coast, was exceptional. Not to mention, how she was able to predict and stay on top of everything that the lender and closing attorney needed. I am grateful for Lisa's help, is all I can say.
