Raised in the rugged beauty of Alaska, I've spent most of my life immersed in its wild landscapes and tight-knit communities. As a mother of three remarkable grown men, my world brightened even further when one of them gifted me with a wonderful daughter-in-law and three spirited grandchildren. With all three of my grandkids deeply entrenched in the thrilling world of hockey, you can often find me cheering them on from the stands or lending a hand at the rink whenever I can steal a moment away.
Alongside the joys of family life, I'm married to a remarkable man whose skills as a licensed and bonded handyman complement my own professional endeavors. Together, we navigate the intricacies of both family and work life with unwavering dedication and love.
Currently, I reside with my father, a resilient soul in his late 90s who, despite the challenges of a stroke and the loss of his second wife, continues to inspire me with his strength and resilience. Choosing to care for him at home rather than placing him in a facility was a decision rooted in love and familial devotion, and I'm endlessly grateful for the opportunity to nurture our bond in this way.
In my professional life, I'm driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, with a steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional results and unparalleled customer service for my clients. Drawing upon a diverse background that spans the realms of banking, title, and insurance, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to every endeavor I undertake.
My journey has also led me into the realm of nonprofit work, where I had the privilege of serving as the Executive Director for United Way, a role that ignited my passion for community service and philanthropy. Throughout the years, I've been deeply involved with various organizations, lending my time and talents to causes close to my heart, including the Food Bank, Hospice, Junior Achievement, the Soldotna Chamber, and Rotary.
