I was very pleased with the way Mrs. Hugo treated me and my wife. Being an African American their are things that some people just assume about you, like what you can and cannot afford, or whether or not your credit is good enough to get approved for a loan. I didn't get any of that from Mrs. Hugo. I felt like she treated me and dealt with me how she would have with anyone else. She was also very attentive and knowledgeable about all the properties. But most important she was honest if a home had some issues or needed extra work she told me and she never pushed or ever tried to force me into a property. I think I was really lucky to meet her and my wife liked her a lot so that helped helped too. The whole process was pretty smooth for me and if there were any issue it always had to do with the normal process of buying a home or other people like the builder or mortgage company getting their stuff in order. She knows and does her job very well.
We moved to Massachusetts from Tennessee and chose Lisa Hugo after meeting her at an Open House. Lisa is very kind and thoughtful. She is fun, has a good sense of humor and is on the ball. She also is extremely level headed and patient and talked me down from a ledge a few times. Lisa grew up in Central Mass and is quite knowledgeable about Worcester County. She was able to help us refine our tastes, wants and needs re: the house and the location. Her guidance through the whole experience was fabulous. We highly recommend her!

Originally, she was helping us find a rental (had found several scams on-line and a friend recommended Lisa). Other realtors I know immediately were trying to pressure us to buy. Lisa didn't pressure at all, in fact, when we changed course to buying (after seeing what rent vs buy prices were), she wanted to make sure we talked to mortgage and financial experts to make sure it was the right move for us before beginning the process. She even helped us find a month-to-month apt that accepted dogs to help us so we didn't have to sign another year long lease.
