This was Mrs. Doan, first home sale as a newly licensed real estate agent. Our property was well maintained by myself over 20 years of ownership. The home was well prepared before being contracted for sale with Mrs. Doan. The house was sold during a sellers market, however Mrs. Doan staged the home that attracted multiple home buyers to view the property. We set our asking price on fair market value, received an offer for the asking price with only one condition from the buyer, pay for a insect inspection. We accepted the offer and the paper work and transfer sale of property was seamless. We received a copy of the appraisal value which only appraised for $500.00 more than our asking price. Selling a home can be a stressful experience. Maintaining your home and upgrading fixtures and appliances as they wear out is key to maximizing potential profit and value. Your competing with other homes by square foot. It's important to show the value of your home compared to similar homes on the market.
