Linda Mildon
Linda helped me find my new home and sold my former. We checked out houses pretty much all summer, helping me figure out what's important to me and what exactly it is I'm looking for in my next house. The market was crazy, so when I expressed interest in a property, we would usually be out there same day. Usually Linda would message me with a newly listed property, and if I said I want to see it, she would respond something like "Can you meet me there in an hour?" lol. Many houses would sell as soon as they enter the market, so gotta hustle. I put in three offers on properties before I purchasing the one I live in now. All were same-day listings. The first one declined my offer even though it was asking price (the seller wanted more than they listed it for); I backed out of the second one after the home inspection revealed more than I was willing to deal with; and finally I made an offer for my new home at about $500 over the listing price. Everything went smoothly from there, but it took a several months to get there. Linda's expertise was essential during each phase of my home-hunting journey - you have to act fast once you know you find a place you feel right about, and I knew I could rely on her. My old home was listed close to a month afterwards. Linda scheduled a photographer to take the pics, along with some other references for getting place ready to list. On the day of the listing, we had about 6-8 showings lined up and a few the next day if I recall correctly. I accepted an offer for almost-asking price a day or two after listing. I likely could have gotten asking price but it's a lot of work selling your home while you still live there. I'm very happy with my new home and I truly appreciate Linda's help getting here. I knew this was the right house when my Dad opened the door to the garage and a wasp flew right into his face and escaped into the house. Lol!
