I met Linda this past summer, just after she sold our neighbor's home in Livermore CA. She immedialtely made a positive impression on me, because I caught her in the act of working - and I mean working! When one typically thinks of real estate agents, the image that often comes to mind is of a smooth talking salesperson dressed up all fancy and driving a super expensive car. She was physically carrying things into and out of the house - window coverings, refuse, etc. I love that "do whatever it takes to get the job done" attitude. And she and her team get the job done for sure! My former neighbor was very happy with their home sale experience. So when we decided to put our home on the market in September, she was the first person I called. After an initial conversation, I knew that she was the agent that we needed to hire for our home sale. She is very well spoken, and has sold enough houses (hundreds) in recent years to show that she walks the talk. Because we did not start the home sale process until late summer, we were under a lot of pressure to get the house on the market quickly. And the quick sale of our house was a tall order, because it was a real fixer-upper. But Linda and her team of contractors dived right in and made it happen: a completely remodeled kitchen, a bathroom remodel, new doors, new paint throughout the interior, new carpeting, etc. And she made the whole process go like clockwork - inspection reports, structural repairs, you name it. And while other houses in the area struggled to sell, she got ours sold at a great price, only about 10 or so days after it was offered for sale on the MLS. This was truly a monumental feat, in my eyes! Of course, the market can be very difficult to predict, and others may not necessarily have this same smashing success.
