As her mother likes to tell the story, Linda packed up her pickup truck and moved from South Florida to Central Florida in 1984 to pursue her passion for horses. Since childhood she enjoyed riding horses, fishing, water sports and music. Early on Linda decided “The Horse Capital of the World” was where she could thoroughly enjoy her love of the horse industry!Linda remembers visiting Ocala, Florida, in the early 1980's and being captivated by miles of rolling pastureland, granddaddy oaks and the site of breathtaking horse farms around every turn. Driving those scenic country roads, hearing the birds singing in the morning; eating lunch in the downtown Ocala square, meandering within the Downtown Historic District; and being able to travel at the speed limit without endless traffic was not something she was use to as a native South Floridian!While learning to buy and sell thoroughbred race horses and raise Angus cattle, Linda began her career in Central Florida accepting a position as a finance manager with a local mobile home dealer. A few years later Linda secured her Real Estate License and began working for a prominent new home builder/developer in Marion County, Florida, Irvin Construction Company, Inc.Continuing to pursue her passion for Real Estate, she accepted a position with a local cellular phone company and began acquiring properties and constructing cellular towers. During Linda’s 12 year tenure, she worked with county, state and federal government agencies obtaining zoning, environmental and regulatory approvals for new tower properties throughout the State of Florida. Linda became extremely familiar with Marion, Levy and Alachua Counties, including the cities/towns of Ocala, Dunnellon, Belleview, Sparr, Anthony, Reddick, Williston, Bronson, Chiefland, Gainesville, Archer, Hawthorne and High Springs, Crystal River, Cedar Key to name a few.Since accepting the position as Realtor Associate with Keller Williams Cornerstone Realty, Linda has proven herself over and over again as a multi-million dollar salesperson a performance that translates into tremendous value for YOU as a Home Buyer or Seller! Her dedication to her clients is unmatched and 14 hour work days are not uncommon. Linda’s philosophy is “to those who much is given, much is required” and recognized at an early age she would be called to do great things. Linda credits her father, a 50 year sales veteran, for inspiring her work ethics. He exhibited loyalty, honesty, hard work and always put his customer’s needs first above his own, which Linda admired.Linda continues to pursue her dream of owning and maintaining her horse farm. She is still very involved in the horse industry, and strongly believes in giving back to the community by being associated with various charities. In 2006 Linda began making custom one-of-a-kind belt buckles, in addition to maintaining her top producing Real Estate business. In March of 2007, Linda was featured in Ocala Style Magazine crediting her for her achievements in her belt buckle business, which goes by the name of Learway Originals.Linda knows what it takes to provide full service real estate assistance.
