Leslie Rubin

As first time home buyers, my husband and I weren't quite sure what to look for in a real estate agent. We'd met with some that seemed nice, but didn't seem like they'd be able to get offers accepted in such a competitive market, and others that seemed more competent, but always acted like they were doing us a favor to meet at a property or take a call to answer questions. Then we met Leslie and I can say without reservation that we truly got the best of both worlds. Leslie is a consummate professional. From the very beginning she worked with us to narrow down our search and asked the tough questions to really figure out what we were looking for. When it came time to put in an offer, she really leveraged her knowledge and expertise to make sure our offer was the one that came out on top. When we made the offer on our new home, Leslie guided us to make a strategic offer, not some haphazard, "swing for the fences" approach, and we ended up getting the place for just under asking price (almost unheard of in this market)! The other thing that makes Leslie so great is she is just so personable, kind, and fun. It never seemed like a chore to meet with her and, from the beginning, we really connected with her on a personal level and felt more like we'd met a new friend than an agent. Once our offer was accepted, Leslie continued to work to get us across the finish line: she was in seemingly constant contact with our lender, the seller's agent, inspectors, etc., and continued to check in with us on an almost daily basis. Leslie was always responsive to our questions and we knew we were in good hands from start to finish. In short, I just can't say enough about how great an experience working with Leslie was. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for personable, competent, and professional representation in the LA area. She's the best!
