My husband and I thought we would be ready to purchase our first home some time next year (2016). My husband had only been working his new job for about 2 - 3 months and we had NO MONEY SAVED. We were on a website just checking out what the home prices were at that time and trying to estimate how much money we needed to save in order to purchase next year. Due to our activity on this site, Leslie contacted us and advised us to do a pre-approval to see what we qualified for now. We were pre-approved for a mortgage but still hesitant because we had no money to put down. Leslie also told us about the funds we qualify for just for being first time home buyers which we can use as our down payment. Our first contact with Leslie was around the beginning of September 2015, we moved into our first home on Halloween. Leslie literally walked us through the whole process. Always available, always patient with those some time stupid questions that first time home buyers can ask...and at times, more excited then we were. Leslie was a stand up agent who took the time to handle issues that I simply did not have the time to deal with. I work out of town 6 days a week and Leslie made sure to see that all necessary items were in order with as little interference to my schedule as possible.
