I contacted Leissa Martin through a recommendation, we met and talked about purchasing my desired home. At first I was a bit nervous to trust her, but I’m so glad I did! The journey was challenging and definitely not easy but Leissa and her team went out of their way & beyond to make it possible. Everyone was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Working with Leissa was a great experience for my wife and I. As a former broker I know stressful being an Real Estate can be. Especially in this market. Without her we would have never closed on this beautiful home!! I mean when we first viewed the home in person, my wife and I thought there was no way we were going to get in this place. It was TOO PERFECT. And at the time houses would see at least 20 offers after the first showing. This place was pristine—it looked like an upgrade model home. We almost didn’t bother putting in our offer but Leissa knew better, she easily convinced us to proceed with the offer and immediately went to work drawing up our offer. And guess what? We beat the other 20+ offers!! We were granted our forever home!! However the job wasnt done yet. She made sure we were up to date with any new information we need and worked diligently with the Mortgage Lender to secure financing. And she help us to close in a reasonable time. Let me paint the picture of my circumstances. I was in a state of deep reflection due to the pandemic. I was questioning what was important to me and my family. Mid November, I started to look at job postings back in my hometown on the East Coast. I was really just looking to see if there was even a minute possibility of being able to get a job during such difficult times. I was due to visit my family during Thanksgiving break. Prior to my departure, I was called regarding a job interview in my hometown. I very nonchalantly accepted the interview and thought to myself... let's just see what happens. The Monday following Thanksgiving I interviewed for the position and I was called 22 minutes after and offered the position!!! At this point, I was stunned and in disbelief. I told myself, "I guess I'm moving." I got back to my home in San Diego on Tuesday night. I called Leissa on my way back letting her know that I got an unexpected job offer and I was needing to put on my house on the market ASAP. Leissa was at my house the very next day (Wednesday). With her assistance the house was prepped and staged. On Thursday, the photographer came and took photos. My house was on the market by Friday!!!! There were 30+ walk throughs of my home. Leissa was transparent and very communicative with scheduled showings, offers and feedback. Leissa was my biggest advocate from the appraiser, to communication with the buyer's agent to inspections. I honestly don't know what I would of done without her by my side throughout an extremely stressful transition. I was able to lean on her and she provided comfort when things seems so ambiguous. She always reassured me and stated that she had everything handled and she delivered. I left California 12/23/2020 which was about 3 weeks prior to the closing of my home. That was a huge leap of faith for me. She made the entire process seem effortless and seamless. I left California knowing I had absolutely nothing to worry about.

Not only did Mrs. Martin help me sell my house, for a profit, she also helped me purchase it 18 months ago! Her knowledge and expertise is remarkable, and her professionalism is refreshing comfort. She pays close attention to detail and makes sure any issues or concerns are addressed and resolved. I truly enjoyed working with Mrs. Martin, and look forward to working with her again in the future. I highly recommend working with Mrs. Martin!!
