As executor of Mom's estate, I signed a Listing Agreement on March 5, 2019. The property was under contract on March 13 at our full asking price. My sister was concerned that we might not have asked enough before Leigh explained that folks would have been beating the door down for the property if we'd priced it too low. As I recall, there were only 2-3 folks who expressed interest before the property went under contract. I'm happy with the price we got and my sister is as well. We could have rolled the dice and insisted on a higher asking price, but that could have just as easily produced a lower sales price as a higher one. As it turned out, getting the property under contract was the easy part. I had no idea how challenging getting all your ducks in a row - both with the city and (in our case) neighbors who owned property that was needed for utilities access - could be. Leigh and her team (I dealt with just one other person until right before closing) made sure I was informed as things progressed and road blocks appeared along the way. I give Leigh's team very high marks for good communications and professionalism; they let me know about material changes but didn't over-communicate. I don't like getting frequent contacts that don't include any new information. The property closed on Friday, March 13 of this year; a very good day for my sister and me! You may recall there was a certain virus dominating the news at that time. Although it could have gone the other way - folks back out of real estate contracts all the time for all kinds of reasons - the buyers closed the deal. I don't know if the sale would have gone through the following week; the news was getting more dire by the day. Fortunately, we didn't have to find out. Leigh and her team did a fantastic job of making sure there were no closing delays on our end, and that helped salvage a very happy ending when a disappointing one was a very real possibility.

Leigh has assembled a terrific team who worked hard, providing all the latest marketing tools and agreed we should hold tight at our desired price which, before long, we achieved! Full-time and professional all the way through.
