When, at the age of 21, Lawrence found himself scouting, evaluating and buying country and urban properties for a non-profit organization as part of his duties, he realized that he knew at least one thing he really loved to do. So after a successful career in New York City as a Business Manager for world famous artist Peter Max, it was not surprising that on a chance Vermont outing one perfect October weekend, his love for land exploration was re-kindled. In short order, he bought his Manchester Vermont dream home and several choice parcels of land, correctly reasoning that many other refugees from urban America might soon be following in his footsteps. After navigating the often complex twists and turns of State of Vermont and local land use laws, Lawrence produced several Manchester and Dorset Vermont development projects of which he is quite proud. The Vermont dream home he bought over thirty years ago as a bachelor now shelters his family, echoing with the squeals and laughter of his three children under the loving care of his wife, Shari. Lawrence received his Bachelor’s Degree from Hunter College of the City University of New York and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Connecticut. In the process of buying and selling for his own account and brokering for others, Lawrence has been through hundreds of houses and walked as many land parcels and thus understands how to bring about a successful transaction.
In the many years in which Lawrence has practiced real estate brokerage here in Vermont, he has had the pleasure of assisting in land transactions as low as $49000 and commercial transactions approaching $4MM as well as luxury mansions and modest cottages and everything in between.
