Lawrence Like

Lawrence is the total package! I met Lawrence many years ago and told him when I was ready, he would be my realtor. Fast forward 3 years and some change. I called Lawrence on his cell as we had stayed in touch and he is always free when you need him. I told him it was time to make good on that promise I made him. This was my first house so I wasn't sure what to expect or anything. Lawrence made it easy as possible. He pointed out flaws and reasons not to buy certain houses that I may not have seen. In the end, we narrowed it down to a house that wasn't in my range, but was the one I wanted. Lawrence was adamant that I do not buy a house unless it "felt like home". This home did, but was out of my range. Lawrence assured me that if I Iiked the house, he would do his best. He spent a ton of time analyzing the neighborhood, comps, things to fix, etc. In the end I ended up getting the house I wanted, for way less than they were asking, and even well under my desired budget. Lawrence even went as far as paying for his cleaning crew to come in and clean the house when the selling agent fell through (they promised prof clean). Two months have gone by since I moved in and Lawrence still calls or texts me on a weekly basis to see how things are coming. He is not only a great realtor, but a friend after all of this.

Lawrence has represented me on a few home sales/purchases over the previous 20+ years and the following example from my last home purchase should give you the incentive to have him represent you. I purchased my home last August. It had been on the market for quite a while and the seller's would only sell on an "as-is" basis since they never lived in the property. Since I've had my real estate broker's license in WI for about 40 years I thought I knew better than Lawrence as to how my Offer should be submitted. Lawrence asked me to trust him and allow him to do his job. Well, he not only got the seller to accept my Offer for significantly less than I thought they would take, but also got them to repair/replace defective items that came up in the inspection in spite of the deal being "as-is". The adage bought right is half sold is true here as I recently refinanced and found out my home has appreciated almost $70,000 in about 1 year. This guy has a way with deals like no one else and impeccable integrity which isn't always the case in this industry. Kudos, Lawrence and thanks again!
