I recently listed and sold my home using Compass Realty in Ft Lauderdale. My chosen realtor, Laurie Spector, had me sold the first day I met her. She walked me through every detail of the process, made recommendations and advised on preparations that proved to ensure successful sale. Laurie and her assistant, Belle Valdefiera, kept me up to date day by day and explained all the legalities of the process. I never had to prompt them for anything, they had the ball rolling the entire time right down to closing that was as convenient and easy as I could ask. I definitely recommend Laurie and Compass for anyone’s sales/buying needs.

I had an amazing experience working with Laurie Richter! She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the entire process. Her communication was always clear and consistent, and she took the time to answer questions and explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. Laurie has great market knowledge and truly knows how to advocate for her clients. Her professionalism, patience, attention to detail, and negotiation skills really stood out. She made the entire experience feel smooth and stress-free, and I would highly recommend Laurie to anyone looking for someone reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to helping their clients!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Laurie Spector to purchase a news home for our son who was moving to Florida from Phoenix . From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure! From our initial conversations and throughout the whole process, Laurie was professional. She is highly knowledgeable about the local market and made sure we always felt like a priority. At each step in the whole process, Laurie came through with her commitment to excellence. Her negotiation skills were first-rate – she consistently found ways to get us the best deal possible. She also went out of her way to ensure every detail was taken care of – from arranging inspections to researching potential issues with a property. Throughout our journey, Laurie demonstrated immense patience and understanding of our situation. Whether we needed additional time for research or require more information on a particular property, she took it all in stride. She went out of her way to provide us with extra resources and various options we could consider when deciding. Oh my God her referrals even after closing were mind blowing she really knows folks from almost every trade I hope every agent is like her

Laurie had buyers for our home almost immediately. She then was always available at all hours to answer any questions we had. She has several great professionals she recommends to further assist sellers in navigating the experience. We would recommend Laurie to everyone. Thank you, Laurie

We used Laurie for both the sale of our home and purchase of our new home. She was amazing! She was always on top of things, never letting anything slip through the cracks. She made both our sale and purchase stress free. We have since recommended Laurie to friends who were also very pleased with her work on the sale of their home. A realtor who is also a lawyer with an MBA; who could ask for anything more!

Professional, knowledgeable and excellent communication skills.

Thank you, Laurie, for helping us get to the finish line. As both the buyer and an agent on this transaction, I truly appreciated the way you handled everything. Your fair negotiation and clear communication made it possible for this deal to work out for everyone involved. I always value working with agents who approach transactions with professionalism and collaboration.

We had a difficult buyer who was self-employed and had issues with obtaining a loan (although he was very wealthy - just hard to document his income and assets). Laurie was on top of it, ensuring that we got it closed.

We have had the pleasure of knowing Laurie Spector and working with her both as sellers and as buyers. Our experience has been outstanding. Laurie is exceptionally organized, methodical, and has a deep understanding of the real estate market. She knows how to adapt her strategies to market conditions and find the right price in such a constantly changing environment. Laurie gives us so much confidence that when we decided to buy another home, we immediately called her because we knew we wouldn’t have to worry about anything. She helped us find a trusted attorney — something essential in these types of transactions — and even helped us get boxes for packing, since our home sold in just one day and we needed to move out quickly. She has an extraordinary team that ensures everything runs smoothly. She anticipates potential issues and is involved in every detail, from preparing spaces for photos to organizing the open house. Those details truly make the difference. In our opinion, after multiple positive experiences working with her, we will continue to rely on Laurie for any future real estate needs.

Laurie researched the area and found the perfect property. She’s an excellent negotiator and made the sale stressless and in record speed. She had great resources for all work and materials we need in the move.

Really a HUGE special thanks to you Laurie for all the hard work you put into our condo sale over such an extended period in challenging market conditions. I’m really pleased we were able to do this without a formal marketing effort this time around, your ability to source an off market buyer de-risked things considerably for us, and avoided a bunch of hassles if we had to go the formal listing route. Thank you so much!

My house was in a multiple offer situation when I was interested in it. I am 100% sure that without Laurie's negotiation and contract drafting skills and creativity, I would NOT have gotten it. I ended up using finance and beat out a cash buyer. I'd recommend Laurie Spector when you're buying a property in South Florida. Thank you Laurie.
