Lauri is not only an amazing realtor, but also an amazing person to work with. Lauri stood by my fiancé & I for the past 2 years while we tried to determine where we would end up living, whether it would be Delaware or Pennsylvania. Lauri was always willing an eager to travel to either state and tour quite a number of houses with us. She was very patient and understanding through it all as she learned in the 1st year of house hunting I was pregnant and in the second year we were busy raising our 1st child, and not only that but we had family in both states that are quite a distance apart. I am from NJ and was looking for a UD rental that my son, a UD student, could live in. I looked on line at a few agencies in the area and chose Patterson-Schwartz after looking at the website and seeing that you offer property management in addition to buying and selling services. I wanted an agency that would understand the rental market. I left a message at your main number and within a couple hours received a call back and was matched to Lauri, after a discussion about our specific needs. That same night she and I had a call to discuss. I drove down to Newark and Lauri took my son and I to see four houses in different neighborhoods to get a feel for the town. None of them was the right house, but a few days later I saw a house on the MLS that might be the right one. Lauri did a walk through of the house while on the phone with me so I got her immediate impressions, which was very helpful. We went back to visit and decided to make an offer. Lauri was very helpful throughout the entire process from the bidding to the closing date. We were referred to RMS for a mortgage and Poland & Sullivan for insurance and have been very pleased with both of them as well. It was a very smooth process, particularly since we were new to the Delaware market, and I hope to do future deals in the area and would definitely want to work with Lauri again.
