My husband received orders to the DC area and we were excited and terrified. This current market is such a crazy sellers market we didn’t think we would ever be able to get anything, especially since we used a VA loan. We purchased our home almost sight unseen (we were under contract before we got to see it) and Lauren was so thorough! She guided us through the process and even timed out my husband’s commute to work from the house we purchased. We was such a fierce negotiator that we got the home for exact appraisal value ( over 20k under what is was listed for) and got us all closing costs covered! I couldn’t believe it and even our lender was shocked at her negotiating skills! This lady is GREAT! I've bought and sold a number of properties over the years in Texas, California and here in Virginia. When I look back over 40 years I've never worked with a RE Agent who was so responsive and so committed to initially helping us sell our home and then almost immediately finding our new home - even though it was not on the market! We hired Lauren to dual list our townhome for both sale and rent. Lauren was fantastic throughout the entire process from getting our home prepared for the listing, including great professional pictures, full 3D home rendering walkthrough, marketing materials, etc., to negotiating and fielding offers, to final signing of a lease agreement and ensuring the tenant was squared away for their start date.
