Here is my review for Laurel: Laurel helped my wife and I purchase our first home and I must say we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. As a young couple in their 20's and early 30's, we wanted an agent who would be on top of things, be in constant communication, was well-informed, confident and, of course, has a heart for people. Laurel exceeded all of our expectations. Laurel took care of us and looked out for our interests. She gave us guidance in which properties to consider, what to negotiate on and how to navigate the process of purchasing a home. She didn't cut corners and did things the right way. I remember telling my wife, "Geez, Laurel is on it and I'm so glad she's our agent." Her experience on the Monterey Peninsula was a huge advantage. She knows A LOT of people and her professionalism shows. She was able to anticipate and read various situations (which greatly reduced our stress). She made everything easy for us--electronic signatures, reminders for deadlines, concise communication, phone calls and viewing properties (even in the midst of Covid!). Laurel deeply cares about people and wants to do what's best for you. My family and I experienced that firsthand and we are very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her.

Laurel Jaques was an exceptional agent and turned out to be the best decision we made in the selling of our Beach Cottage in Pacific Grove. Since we did not live in the state of California it was helpful to have a relator who lived in the area and who not only had a great understanding of the value of our property but her connections in the community were invaluable. She was able to guide us through the many rules and regulations of the city not to mention the top notch electricians and plumbers who got us up to code. Laurel's knowledge of the community helped her list the cottage at the perfect time. She personally staged our cottage and had a professional photographer take pictures for the listing which made us almost regret selling. This resulted in a final sale above our asking price and well above our original expectations. Since we were selling at a difficult time in the history of our nation I personally want to thank Laurel for always being professional in her manner, courteous in her demeanor and focussed in her efforts on our behalf. She went above and beyond by answering questions either by calls or email no matter what time of day or night. She made the selling of the property flawless even when we were unable to come to the state for the closing. There aren't too many relators who check on your property every few days, help you find a lawyer for probate and even return Comcast equipment for you. Not to mention that she took care of the furnishings not wanted by the buyer even after closing. Thank you Laurel for making us feel valued not only as clients but as friends.

Our son and daughter-in-law referred us to Laurel and we were very pleased, very impressed and have no regrets! She has been wonderful to work with as her skillset helped us to buy a home we love within record time. I am particularly impressed with her attention to detail. She is very pro-active and has we had little experience with this particular market she was always on the mark when it came time to consider the nuances and challenges unique to this community. My husband and I highly recommend her!
