Born and raised in Whatcom County, Laura has witnessed the tremendous amount of change and growth that has transformed the Bellingham area into one of the most sought-after destinations in the Pacific Northwest. Returning to Whatcom County after college, Laura started a family and put down permanent roots here. Raising her children in an area with amazing recreational opportunities, excellent schools, and a community that values diversity and culture was of utmost importance to both Laura and her husband.
Laura's degree in Human Services led to a passion for helping others, where she focused her efforts on improving schools and building community. Laura is very active and connected in the local community as a result of working for years in the Ferndale School District, at Bellingham Technical College, and in Social Services with seniors. She was a Board Member for Ferndale Dollars for Scholars for several years and was a mentor with the Be The One Program from 2022-2025 in the Ferndale School District. Laura’s vast knowledge of neighborhoods, school districts, and local communities is key when helping clients find a special home in the location that best fits their desires.
Laura is a positive and energetic Realtor who seeks to attract equally positive clients. She is passionate about the place she calls home and being involved in everything that improves her community or fosters genuine relationships with others. She enjoys educating newcomers and sharing about her favorite trails, parks, restaurants, and best places to explore. Always leading with kindness, Laura’s honesty, transparency, and fun side are what her clients and friends appreciate most. Laura enjoys traveling, visiting her adult children, hiking, gardening, and growing beautiful dahlias.
