Laura is a second-generation realtor. Both her mother and father were in the real estate industry for decades in the southern peninsula. Laura developed an early interest in real estate and started investing in her early twenties.
Prior to launching her professional career in real estate, Laura worked for over 20 years in advertising and marketing for Apple and other top Silicon Valley companies. Her experience includes managing local and worldwide advertising campaigns. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with an Emphasis in Advertising from San Diego State University.
As a fourth-generation Californian, Laura has deep roots in the Peninsula and Silicon Valley. She has traveled extensively internationally and lives on the Peninsula with her two children. She feels strongly about education and volunteered in both of her children's schools; she was also a Girl Scout leader for many years. When her children attended a Spanish immersion elementary school, she saw a great need to help struggling students improve their reading skills. Laura established and managed a reading tutorial program with adult volunteers. She also taught art and a weekly music class.
Laura loves the fantastic climate and the variety of cultural and outdoor activities in the Bay Area. She is an avid hiker and bike rider and enjoys creating fused-glass sculptures.
