Ladd was absolutely wonderful to work with. I purchased a home in Summerville while living out of state. Ladd handled the walk through, update emails, and meetings with the builder to ensure things were on track. He even allowed me to stay in his guest house while we closed on the home and had furniture delivered. It was a terrific experience and I cannot recommend Ladd enough!
Ladd did a great job selling our house. It was our first time selling a home and thanks to Ladd the process went much more quickly and smoothly than we expected! He was responsive and professional and went above and beyond when an unexpected issue came up with our appraisal to make sure that everything was taken care of. Would definitely recommend him!

His attention to detail and expert guidance gave us confidence in every decision. We never felt like just another client—Ladd genuinely cared about achieving the best outcome. What impressed us most was his honesty, integrity, and willingness to go above and beyond. Whether negotiating, coordinating inspections, or offering reassurance, he consistently delivered exceptional service. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, responsive, and hardworking realtor who is truly invested in your success, I highly recommend Ladd Shuford. We would gladly work with him again and recommend him without hesitation.
We had an amazing experience working with Ladd! From start to finish, he was attentive, professional, and always had our best interests in mind. He did an outstanding job communicating with both us and the seller, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. No matter what questions we had or what we needed, he was always quick to respond and stayed on top of every detail. We always felt informed and supported throughout the entire journey. Buying a home can be overwhelming, but he made it an enjoyable experience. We couldn’t be happier with the service he provided and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Thank you for going above and beyond for us!
Ladd did an excellent job helping us sell our home. He provided great insight into the market, kept us consistently updated, and worked hard to make our home stand out in a saturated area. His professionalism and understanding of our situation made the process much easier. We highly recommend Ladd for buying or selling your next home.
From our initial conversation to closing, Ladd was there every step of the way and beyond. Living out of state and navigating a home purchase from afar, we anticipated some challenges. But not with Ladd, he always provided excellent guidance. His dedication, knowledge and professionalism is evident in all that he does. Not only did we meet our SC realtor, we met a friend! If you are considering a Low Country home purchase, this is the only call you need to complete.
Ladd and his team were instrumental in helping us sell the house quickly. We wish we would have found him sooner. Ladd was present at every showing, checked up on the house and was a great communicator. He truly cares about his clients and the work that he does. You will not find a more compassionate or knowledgeable agent! Highly highly recommend Ladd and his team!

Ladd took a hands on, creative approach to getting my home sold in a timely manner for its best value. He and his team were always very responsive and more than willing to go the extra mile to see that my home got the exposure it needed in a challenging market. I felt completely confident in his approach to getting my home sold and was not disappointed! I would, without hesitation, highly recommend him for your purchase/sale needs.
While traveling back home from Palm Beach to Plymouth Massachusetts, we stoped in Somerville SC to visit some friends. We have thoughts of retiring in SC and asked Ladd Shuford to show us some homes in the area. One of the last homes we toured had everything we could want and aside from timing being everything, our experience with Ladd as our agent made the decision to buy effortless. Ladd connected us up with a mortgage broker and a closing attorney that made the logistics of home buying efficient and pleasant. Ladd was available every step of the way to see we received top notch service and answers/guidance to any of our concerns. His customer service skills are unparalleled, his pleasant southern demeanor kind and helpful. Ladd exudes all the perfect qualities, service and behavior that a first class realtor should. On the surface, he appears to do this almost effortlessly, but honestly we observed that he works hard to create that reality for us as his client. Thank you Ladd for everything and we hope to enjoy your company soon in our new home as our guest so we can return the hospitality and more importantly spend time with you as our friend. Be well. John and Lee
