About Lacee

I spent much of my youth traveling or dreaming about far-off destinations. But the road always seemed to lead back home, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m a Washington state native who has called Anacortes home for the past 20 years. I have embraced all the wonderful destinations we have right outside our front door and I’ve explored all that the islands have to offer. I love it here. When I was 22, I became a co-owner and co-operator of a very popular Anacortes restaurant. Our success in the business so exceeded our expectations that after a great five-year run we decided to sell the restaurant to see what else life had in store. My future mother-in-law, Jacki Mayo, one of Coldwell Banker Bain’s premier Anacortes brokers, asked me to join her team of real estate professionals. She knew that the skill needed as an entrepreneur in the service industry would transition flawlessly in my role as a full-time broker. From firsthand experience, I know how important it is to listen to customers’ wants and needs to help them reach their goals. Thanks to my years in the restaurant business, I bring hard work, commitment and dedication to help each individual, whether they are buying or selling a home, succeed in their real estate transaction. Lacee became a trusted friend and made the selling of our house a fun and exciting experience

We never thought selling a house could be a pleasant experience - that is, until Lacee Root walked into our lives and became our real estate agent. Her involvement in taking care of every detail of the selling process allowed us to step back and relax, knowing we were in such professional and caring hands.
