I'll admit it: I was terrified when it came to buying a house. It's a field that I know very little about and understood even less. Luckily for my wife and I, we found Kym. Kym put things in to layman's terms from day one and every step of the way from then on out. She knows a good house when she sees it, sees potential were the untrained eye doesn't, and will be the first to tell you if the house isn't good for whatever reason. She knows the Saint Petersburg market well and will steer you in the right direction. Not only does she understand that a home is a place where you build your family, but also a place where you build equity and wont let you make a bad deal for your future in any terms. I can not stress this enough - at the end of the day she truly wants what is best for you and yours. Kym held our hands through the whole process, answered phone calls when we panicked, replied to texts at all hours of the night and even helped us with small things after we signed on the house. Never once did she pressure us to do something we were uncomfortable with and we never felt like she was trying to get one over on us or anything like that. Being active users of Zillow, we didn't need Kym's help finding houses to look at, but she was a great help arranging visits and sharing her extensive knowledge of St. Pete real estate. And once we found the house we wanted, Kym was indispensable, guiding us through the process from offer to closing.

After casually searching for homes on my own for over a year, I finally agreed to have Zillow connect me with an agent in my area. They matched me with Kym Coyle, which I am incredibly thankful for. Kym is a St. Pete native who knows her way around the city. She knew exactly what areas I would be comfortable in while staying within my price range. My biggest concern prior to working with a realtor was that the agent would be too eager to get me into a home and it wouldn't be the right fit. Kym is the perfect amount of get-it-done without being pushy. If I needed a week off from house hunting (finding your perfect home is tiring!), she let me have my time but was available the minute I was ready to look again. Aside from her knowledge about the local area, and her patience, the thing I loved the most about working with her was that she never tried to sway me to feel a certain way about a home. When we would walk into a house she would let me "ooh and ahh" or even cringe before offering up her opinion or ideas about how I could make the home my own.
