Kristin Olson

Kristin Olson recently helped sell my grandfather's house. My grandfather moved into assisted living and wanted to sell his house. He built this house himself 40+ years ago. While he was involved with all the major decisions (pricing, timing, etc), but he put me in charge of hiring a real estate agent and getting the house ready to sell. Hiring Kristin was the best move I made during this process. Kristin worked wonderfully with the various personalities involved in this sale. She was incredibly patient and professional with my grandfather. She brought comps to help my grandfather decide on pricing. She was knew the area and what kinds of buyers to expect, while keeping an opened mind about other options. While being extremely knowledgeable about the housing market, Kristin was instrumental getting the house updated. My grandfather took excellent care of his house, but many of the superficial items were dated (light fixtures, wallpaper, etc). My grandfather did not want too many things changed. Within these parameters, Kristin helped direct me on areas of the home on which to concentrate in order to get the most benefit for our time, effort, and money. Kristine was able to recommend people to help with some of the work, as we were on a tight schedule. Once we did all the major cleaning, painting, and new floor instillation, Kristin came in and staged the whole house. What a transformation! Relatives that saw the pictures on line couldn't believe it was the same house. She was able to bring the house from early 1970's to a modern, hip 2018. Without her expertise, I don't think we would have been able to have the success we had selling this house. Through the whole process, amidst a demanding client, Kristin kept a positive, upbeat attitude. I know I could not have done this alone and was glad to have Kristin on our team. I would highly recommend Kristin as a real estate agent.
