.Unforeseen circumstances made things difficult causing lack of communication re im
Wrong name! My name is WESTER, NOT Westland.
On the positive side,, I was pleased at the offers given and the final amount received which was above asking price. She also worked cooperatively with Estate Sales rep while showing house to potential buyers..
However, there were things that disappointed me.
I would have appreciated more frequent updates particularly when there were delays. I wasn't apprised of the delay in closing until I inquired. I was asked several times to repair things for the buyer based on their inspectors findings. My general contractor did NOT agree with the inspectors findings and only minor repairs were needed. Kristen asked me to have a few leftover items removed from the garage. I asked for photos but none were sent. My son had to guess at what the buyer wanted removed and got it wrong. I was told after the first request that there would be no further requests...but more requests from buyer were asked of me via Kristen. Buyer wanted a permanent work bench removed. I didn't know whether the buyer would back out if I didn't do everything they asked. I received no advice from Kristen. Sometimes I felt she was working harder for the buyer.
Other realtors I have worked with kept me apprised of everything I needed through the process, advising me along the way and even giving me names of people to help with repairs, cleaning etc. She didn't provide that assistance. I understand Kristen got Covid so that certainly had to be an issue, not her fault. Selling a house when I live in another state made things more difficult.
She's a nice young lady nonetheless.
