My passion for real estate and staging began at a young age. As a child, I would build homes from cardboard boxes and practice selling them with my Fisher Price figures. I frequently rearranged my surroundings, surprising my parents with new living room layouts upon their return from a night out. This passion endured into adulthood, and I pursued my dream of becoming a REALTOR® later in life, I couldn’t be happier with my decision.
Originally from Michigan City, Indiana, I pursued my education in the Midwest, earning an Associate's Degree in Illustration and Graphic Design from the American Academy of Art in Chicago. For 30 years, I have designed logos, promotional items, and advertising materials for various local businesses. After gaining extensive experience working for local sign companies, I took the entrepreneurial leap and opened Ahern Sign Design in February 2003. I was actively involved in all facets of the business—from client consultations to executing their visions. This experience mirrors real estate in many ways. In 2014, I sold my sign business and relocated to Shreveport, Louisiana, and fully embraced my passion for real estate, earning my license and finding immense satisfaction in helping others achieve their dream of home ownership.
