My parents moved in with me down in Charlotte, NC last July, and I needed to sell their house in Bon Ayre. I am a Realtor in NC, so I had 3 different agents go take a look at the house and follow up with me regarding their recommendations and list price. One of the agents didn't even respond within a week of going out & looking at the house, and another agent sent me comps for houses that had a lot more updates than my parents house did and suggested I list it at the same price and said it would take 6 months to sell. Krysta was honest - she pointed out that my parents house did not have the same level of updates and suggested listing it for between 5-10 k less than the other homes. I liked her right off the bat, just because she was honest about the list price expectations. I told her that my goal was to get the place sold as quick as possible, and she listened and recommended that we list the house on the low end of her suggested range. I did so, and the house went under contract in 2 weeks for 99 percent of list price. Krysta also worked hard to get through any obstacle that presented itself between contract and closing!
