We moved my elderly parents to NC from NH more than a year ago; they have been renting a furnished home as we thought we would be able to build them a bungalow, or an in law suite on our two lots. Between subdivision covenants and zoning regulations, that wasn't to be. We met Kraig when we attempted to purchase the home next door, an estate sale. After much questioning, we decided he would ethically handle being a dual agent, representing the owner as well as we the buyers. We won that bidding war, and then lost the house in the unusual court ordered public notice process of that estate sale. Seeing my discouragement, he searched out other single level homes in our neighborhood and asked if we would like to see them. Buying another home was never on our radar, but Kraig found us a beautiful, move in ready single level home three doors down from us, totally within our budget. He has been proactive, so responsive in answering so many questions especially about the public notice sale. He kept tabs on things even while taking the occasional day away this summer. His kindness extended to making sure he was the agent who opened the house for my parents to see the first time [they didn't know what we were up to until the appraisal was in and we were sure the purchase was more than likely].
