Kirk is incredibly knowledgeable of the Omaha housing market and is a great advisor on how to proceed to be competitive, yet fair, when putting in an offer. He is patient and takes the time to make sure his clients are comfortable with the house-buying process. The perfect blend of proactiveness and reactiveness, critical traits in this competitive housing market, I had an advocate and advisor from start to finish throughout my house-buying journey. Kirk’s help extended to the many things that occur between when the offer was accepted and the closing date (i.e. arranging for inspections). There are so many balls in the air during this process and Kirk ensured none were dropped. I met Kirk over a decade ago, the last time I lived in Omaha. I was instantly impressed with his professionalism and real estate knowledge. So I reached out to Kirk before returning to Omaha to get my house-buying journey started from a long distance. It didn’t matter that I was 1,400 miles away, Kirk was helpful and attentive, taking my calls, texts and emails (and offering to do Facetime walkthroughs for me if any properties came up in the very hot market, with limited inventory) plus he took it upon himself to get additional information from agents on properties I expressed a strong interest in, in turn, providing me his professional take on each home. This advice was invaluable. Especially coming from a different area of the country, I wasn’t sure of the intricacies of the Omaha housing market and so Kirk got me comfortable with what was/is happening in Omaha and provided me a wealth of insight, for example sharing which neighborhoods were appreciating the most. For such a big investment in my life, in what can be a very stressful situation, I felt calm and enjoyed this process--with all the credit going to Kirk.
