Kirk was simply amazing in helping me purchase my first home. His superpower is definitely his knowledge of the San Francisco market and the history of many of the condo communities there. He was able to trudge through the hundreds of pages of disclosures and find the details that would matter to me. I also appreciated that the decision was always very much in my hands. A bit scary when it came to deciding on an offer price. However by the time we got to the offer stage, Kirk had given me all the information I needed to get a great deal.

We had an amazing experience working with Kirk. As first time homebuyers, we had very limited knowledge on real estate and one of our goals was to be over-educated. After all, this would be the single biggest investment we would make to date. Kirk struck the right balance of sharing information that we wanted (and sometimes didn't even know we wanted!), but making it very easy to digest. He met us where we were at. He was extremely patient with us as we wanted a lot of time to get comfortable with the home buying process. We never felt rushed and felt extremely supported by him. He spent a lot of time with us going to different properties, finding ways to make special arrangements happen, and ultimately, we felt, went above and beyond for us. Ultimately he found us our first home, which was not even on our radar, but he scouted it out for us after learning what we were looking for over many property visits. This showed me that Kirk listens and pays attention, something that is hard to find in many realtors are they juggle many clients and priorities. We never felt like we weren't important. We also had a lot of adjacent questions to the home buying process as first timers and Kirk was happy to guide us through all of them (I'm pretty sure some of them were not even adjacent). To add, he's a very nice, smart, and communicative person. He strikes the balance of being a nice person, but is also very direct and honest, which is something we knew we needed when making such a big decision. He also is very professional when dealing with offers (great balance of being firm, but not mean). We have already been recommending him to all our friends who are looking to buy in the next few years and we will definitely work with Kirk again whenever we need to buy or sell a home again. Working with Kirk was the best real estate decision we could’ve made. I was introduced to him after two close friends—both savvy, detail-oriented buyers—told me he was the best agent they had ever worked with. Our experience proved that praise to be entirely warranted. Kirk’s guidance throughout the process was remarkable: his advice on how to position our bid was spot-on, and his read on the market and on other buyers’ likely moves was almost eerily accurate. Kirk was a phenomenal agent for us - we'd actually been in conversation with him for nearly 10 years, and had viewed many properties together. He always was forthcoming about tradeoffs of each house so that we felt confident in decision-making. Though many homes were a no, eventually we found the home that checked all the boxes (via an open house!) and Kirk was the first call we made. He came in, evaluated the house with his practiced eye, and ran through all the pros and cons with us. He was also able to skillfully negotiate the process with the other agent, cut through the pricing games, and give us the time we needed to research our decision. The listing for my flat had been lagging and my agent’s solution was a fire sale. Yikes! That money was my retirement. A friend advised a call with Kirk. That conversation changed my life. I learned more in a half hour than I had learned from my current realtor in 8 months. I vowed to change course. The net result: Kirk and his team sold the flat to my satisfaction within a month. Not only did I get my price, I got wonderful neighbors. And no games. Only straight clear communication. And we had fun. We were in the flow. Within a couple weeks of signing, Kirk’s team had exquisitely staged the flat and held the first of many open houses . . . with no fewer than 8 signs up and down the street. Kirk was professional and caring from the get go. The house was a Victorian over a hundred years old and problems and unexpected challenges constantly popped up but Kirk and his team were always on top of things. The house was crammed full of possessions from the previous owners of fifty years and everything was cleaned out, painted, refurbished and staged beautifully. The market was sinking when the house went up for sale but Kirk managed to get a great price in spite of it.
